Tree Festival

In Salt Lake City they have a tree festival to raise money for the Children's hospital. People purchase trees, decorate them and then donate them to the festival. They then auction off the trees. There are small and large trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses, and more. There were 700 trees donated! The Young Women at our church bought and decorated a tree in memory of my Mom. Here is a picture of the tree. It was an African theme.

And a close up so you can see the beads and ornaments.

Here we are at the festival.

We had an extra tree permit, so we decided to cut down another tree!!!
Matt and Finn are making the sledding path.
 Sophie sledding down.
Fish kept walking up and going down. He loved it.
Fish and Finn going down together.
Sophie waiting patiently as we chose the tree.
The tree has been chosen!!! Matt and Fish starting to saw it down.
Finn decided he had enough. Isn't that the saddest face ever!?!?!
 Fish sawing the tree.
 Matt finishing the job.
Here is a picture of where we got the tree. Its just out of the car window, which is apparently very dirty, but its kind of fun to see where we were.
